Senior Director of Development, Principal Gifts

Florida State University seeks a Senior Director of Development, Principal Gifts to execute a personal solicitation program, using the existing principal gift framework, resulting in philanthropic support by maximizing the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of prospects for gifts at the $5,000,000 and up level university wide, employing a donor-centric approach to academic fundraising. The Senior Director will secure, on an annual basis, private support at the principal gift range, which is currently $5,000,000, as part of FSU’s new comprehensive campaign. Additionally, the Senior Director will initiate, lead, and engage in ideation with academic and university leadership around existing "big ideas" at FSU that can be translated to philanthropic gifts of $5,000,000 and higher, while upholding and exemplifying the operating practices and mission of the FSU Foundation and Florida State University.
